Win A Book & Read An Excerpt

Here's another chance to win this book. Susan Grant is giving away a copy at her website - closing date is 31 October 2008.

Susan had also just posted the excerpt of the story that follows Moonstruck. This second book in The Borderlands series will be released in February 2009. I can't wait.

I can't wait for The Warlord's Daughter to be out. The cover's not too shabby either LOL.

I dig the cover too. :-D Much better than Moonstruck's. :-)

Thanks so much for the contest heads up! I have Moonstruck on my wish list... I'll hold off until the end of the month before buying it... in hopes that I might win! I mean... its not like I don't have upwards of 200 other books to read on my shelf. I can wait until the end of October to buy one more. LOL

I hope you'll win a copy, Christine. :-D It's a great read.

200+ books in TBR!!! LOL You'll never run out of books to read. :-D Mine numbers 105 and I'm trying very hard (but failing) not to buy more until I've made a dent.

Cover - yum. Release date - seems so far away. This is one of my most anticipated releases - and I don't WANT to wait that long damn it!

I agree, the cover for The Warlord's Daughter is NICE. *G*

Kristie: Yes, Feb 2009 is too long to wait! I wish Susan would release 2 books a year like some authors are doing. *grin*

Brandy: Goes to show, when done right, a cover with a man's naked torso can look very good without the risque factor. I can read this book in public without any reservation at all! LOL

Jace and all, it was really great to see excitement about The Warlord's Daughter. Thank you. I dropped by to comment that I took on some extra projects this year, and why there weren't two books this year. Two books--an anthology and a category--are being released in the next 2 months, so technically, I have 3 releases between now and Feb 2009. Next week there's Mysteria Lane, an antho where I have contributed a demon story. Then in another month in November, a Christmas military romantic suspense for Silhouette called Mission: Christmas. It's about an Air Force heroine and a prince and is my first non-paranormal! I think in 2009 my publisher wants another book after WD, so 2 in one year. I'll do my best! At least, I haven't agreed to do any extra projects! Thanks again!
