My fuzzball

This is Furball. He belongs to my family. We've had him since he was a 2-month-old bag of bones. My brother found him outside, shivering with cold and hunger, and brought him home. And he has never left since (he's now 8 years old). Yes, Furball is an indoor cat. I can tell you many (true) stories about him, but that has to wait for another day.

I'm posting this photo primarily for Brandy, who has 7 cats herself. *grin* I've been following her daily postings on her kitties ... their antics were smile-inducing, to say the least.

I told Brandy that her Fireball can pass for Furball's twin. See, even their names are similar. Don't take my word for it ... see for yourself. Click here and scroll down to the post dated August 25, 2008 and tell me what you think. *grin*

OMG! You're right! They could be twins! Furball even seems to have the "ribbon-belt" of color across his tummy like Fireball does!
Fureball looks pretty spry for eight years old. *g*

Hope you're having a relaxing weekend!

Have a good day.

J, Furball is beautiful! His white belly looks so kissable. He doesn't look spoiled...much.

Adorable. I love pet pictures! ...and am partial to cat pictures, because well, I've got four. And who can resist those LOLCATs? ;)

TWINS!!! :) Man, I need a cat. We're waiting till after the honeymoon and Christmas vacation so that the new cat won't be left alone. But I miss having one around right now.

Brandy: The likeness is uncanny, isn't it? I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw Fireball. LOL

Furball has slowed down a lot over the last year or so (used to be hyper-active when he was younger). He sleeps most of the day away and take things in his stride. We can definitely "see" his age in his demeanour and general behaviour.

Dru: Hi, welcome! :-)

Mel: His belly is unbelievably soft. I always put him on my lap, facing me, and just stroke his white chest.

Furball isn't much spoiled ... because we don't believe in letting him misbehave too much. ;-)

Christine: Four cats! LOL I bet they are constantly making your smile. :-D Yes, the LOLCATS are very funny. :-D

Janicu: As hard as the waiting is right now, your decision to wait until after Christmas to get a cat is wise. You have 4 months to decide on the type of cat you want. :-) Kitten or adult? Pedigree or domestic? Male or female? Colour? Temperament? :-)

Orange and white boys are the best! I have one, too.

LOL I know. I figured it was safe to admit I have four since Brandy has SEVEN! Someone crazier than I. ;p

The truth is, I'm not really the cat lady. I'm a kitten lady. And I've got this label across my forehead that says: Will take last two kittens in litter so no one gets left behind alone. Happened twice.

Hey, Christine. I resent that remark as it resembles me. *G* I saw a t-shirt the other day that says "I AM the Crazy Cat Lady". My Daughter said it was so me. And we have rescue kitties, so Janicu when you go to get a fur baby, please remember those!

Carolyn Jean: Welcome! :-) My friend Kat (yes, she owns a cat too) said orange + white cats are individualists. I tend to agree, because Furball has a "funny" character that's all his own. I used to ask him, "are you a cat or not ... because you sure aren't behaving like one." LOL

Christine: LOL You sound exactly like my brother (yes, the one who rescued Furball all those years ago). He adopted 2 kittens about a year ago ... the last 2 in the litter, because he couldn't bear to separate them. LOL

Devon: Hi, welcome and thanks for dropping by. :-)
