Major Reading Slump *sigh*

The kitties pretty much demonstrate my current reading mood. What to do? Nothing seems appealing right now.

Perhaps some British wit will put me in a more agreeable mood?

Awww J I feel for you. Reading slumps are the pits. Perhaps reading something funny might work?

Hey M,

Now that I "remember" I still have some half-finished cross-stitch projects laying around, I'll stitch and read the Merde book alternately. That should keep me busy enough to ride out the slump. ;-)

Hey Jace, I was recently in a reading slump myself. What helped me to get out of it was to reread a favorite book of mine. It had been a couple of years since I last read it and it was just what the doctor ordered. If you don't want to do a reread how about reading a book from a favorite author. Maybe that will get you back in the mood. Or of course you can always cross-stitch :)

Hi Jill, thanks for the tip. :-) Unfortunately, NOTHING seems interesting right now ... not new, or old or favourites! *wail*

I'm reading A Year In The Merde [as and when I feel like it] and alternating it with cross-stitching, and I hope this will work. *fingers crossed*

Well, sometimes you just have to give it a rest. I hope cross-stitching works for you and this breaks the slump. Good luck!

I was in a slight slump recently and I turned to sci-fi. I'm reading Bright of the Sky now, and it's really interesting. It's brought me out of the pits, that's for sure.

I hope something strikes your reading fancy soon!!
